If there is inevitability that we will all experience loss in some part of our lives, then grief is a natural part of the healing process. The reasons for grief are many, such as the loss of a loved one, the loss of health, the loss of a relationship, or the letting go of a life long dream. Dealing with a significant loss can be one of the most difficult times in a person’s life. From my own personal experience, when my mother passed suddenly, it was and still remains one of the most overwhelming emotional things I have ever experienced.
