THE DOGS AT BATTERSEA DOGS HOME – HAVE A BETTER HQ (HEAD QUARTERS) SET-UP THAN BLACK PEOPLE IN THE UK.
The dogs at Battersea Dogs Home have a better situation in terms of actually having a Head Quarters (HQ)and an organization representing their interest in the UK than African people and their loved ones.
Not even a dog kennel – AFRICAN people in the UK and Europe, as a whole, do not even have an office the size of a dog kennel to strategically; organize, plan and execute policies that will develop ‘our households’, ‘our community’ – #theBlackcommUnity; emotionally, spiritually, socially, economically and politically. Worst still, this is the same for African people in the whole of Europe. Our Brothers and Sisters in; France, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Spain too… So it’s not just a bad UK situation.
Poetry Society – Even the Poetry Society, have not one but four buildings – I recently passed the offices of the Poetry Society in Lambeth Walk, which comprised of four to five small buildings joined together… and I just stopped and thought… ‘Warren, African people in the whole of Europe don’t even have the equivalent of one room, let alone what must be over three thousand sq metres here, dedicated to getting our act together after over 80 years in this country in mass numbers, we still don’t even have one single office to organize our affairs, is it any surprise that people take liberties with ‘us’ and don’t take us seriously’… ‘We’ don’t take ourselves seriously; ‘We’ don’t respect ourselves or each other, or trust ourselves or each other… That’s why ‘we’ don’t have a base, an office… or, Head Quarters (HQ)… Like the dogs at Battersea Dogs Home.
No organization, No representation – ‘We’ can not as a ‘community’ expect to be taken seriously, when we don’t have a single organization representing ‘our collective interest’. The dogs at Battersea Dogs Home have a base, (by the river too, with riverside views), the dogs have the RSPCA, the Animal Protection Society, The Animal Protection League Inc, Animal Protection Shop, Dogs Trust, Captive Animals Protection Society, The Animal Protection Party, the Animal Protective Foundation, The Animal Protection Trust, The Animal Protection Agency, Protection Dogs UK, The Dog Protection Society, League for Animal Protection, The League for Animal Protection of Huntington Dog Program, Animal Protection Trust, World Society for the Protection of Animals, Dogs Home Trust, Dogs Trust England, Dogs Trust Cheshire, Dogs Trust, Cardiff Dogs Trust, Circle of Grey for Greyhounds, K-9 UK, wspa.org.uk, just for starters to represent their interest as dogs! You can’t take liberties with a dog, and not have one of these organizations speak-up on behalf of the dog. Yet, African people face discrimination in employment, housing, education, business, and yet, ‘we’ have no organization amongst ‘us’ moreover, in wider society, to represent ‘us’… that is capable of address or resoured sufficiently, to address even 1% of the discrimination and liberties taken just here in the UK every day, let alone for one week!
National Administration Office – ‘We’ currently DON’T have a single office space of 200 square feet (not even a broom cupboard) delegated to the overall national ‘Administration’ of the affairs of ALL UK #African people and the #UK #Black #African Community (#UKBAC) and their family and loved-ones. WE desperately need this with a ‘high calibre’ Prime Minister overseeing the Administration of ‘our’ national and international affairs, which are UNIQUE to ‘our’ ‘core’ 2m ‘Community’. WE are a core 2 to 3 million ‘Community’ with another 6 to 10m people with whom ‘we’ have LEGAL and BIOLOGICAL relationships. This makes ‘our’ numbers 2 x greater than that of the 7m London population and at that level, ‘we’ should be able to afford an Administrative HQ of a great size equal even to the Greater London Authority (GLA) who collect £245 per annual approx. from each Council Tax payer in Greater London, therefore, with a Membership fee of £298.00 and an equal Membership, or moreover, equivalent to the London 7m population, we too should be able to have an Head Quarters building to be proud of…. ‘We’ need to begin this crucial development – from small acorns… the journey of a thousand miles…
Embassy – ‘We’ need to have an embassy, a place which people can call easily and have an address to go to or call upon (in person) in the time of need. Somewhere from which, ‘OUR’ Foreign Secretary, can administrate, and liaison with Africa and other countries, with which, ‘we’ have racial, religious and economic connections, which includes the likes of Rome and the Vatican Bank. The Embassy must provide a walk-in reception where members of the #UKBAC can pop-in freely and discus any social-economic problems or challenges, aims, ambitions they might indeed be having with accommodation, housing, employment, starting a business or domestic issues. The Embassy might even offer ‘asylum’ to UNION Members.
