Two of the #BlackCommUNITY #Blackpound campaign Honourary Founder Members
Ms #DawnFrench and Sir #LennyHenry – We wanted to have Ms Dawn French on board the #Blackpound UNION campaign to demonstrate that our #Blackpoundspendingpower isn’t just about #Blackpeople, with black skin, moreover, our entire UK #AfrikanHouseholds #SpendingPOWER… Which has to take into account several million people, which makes Black people, no minority, when it comes to our #Blackpoundspendingpower…
#Equality – Also, Ms Dawn French and Sir Lenny Henry were indeed arguably the most well-known mixed couple, ever in the UK, when they were married, and both are equally well-known, not the man more than the woman, which is most frequently the case or vice versa, so, equality, also exist with them, and #TheBlackpound #SpendingPOWER campaign is very much about equality for #BlackCustomers. Which is why, eleven years ago, we felt it essential to illustrate this diversity in our UK AFRICAN FAMILY HOUSEHOLD UNION campaign by asking Sir Lenny Henry and his ex-wife Ms Dawn French to support and join the campaign by lending their names and kudos to the campaign as Honourary Founder Members at its inception in August 2008.
#Clout – The #BlackpoundUNION online campaign is very fortunate to have this, high profile support, along with dozens of well-known names from ecclesiastics, politics, music and the arts in general, which includes 19 bishops, one of whom is; Bishop Dr #EsmeBewick MBE, one of the campaign’s most long-standing Facebook Administrators, and five sons of the late Bob Marley RIP OM as well as his partner Bunny Wailer OM and son Joe Wailer.
#EleventhAnniversary – Now, given that the #Blackpound campaign is eleven years old online, we seriously need to move our online campaign to serious offline street and public campaigning work as a #StrategicCollective, we have collectively, more than demonstrated that we want our #Onevoice unity union .
